Option 2: Become A "Certified Hypnotherapist"
The last two (2) days are for you to get your Hypnotherapist
Specialization Certification and to learn a great deal about how to become a
professional. This is for those people who wish to work with
clients in clinical sessions or want to help others with various problems or
issues. Participants who stay for the full 5 days will be eligible to
receive both the Certified Hypnotist and Certified Hypnotherapist certificates.
Many different hypnotic processes and skillsets will be covered, and you
will have all the skills necessary to start working with people right away! The
techniques that will be taught include:
You will learn all of this and much, much more. Because of the intense
content of the course, it requires focus and attention on the part of the
attendees so that you can learn these skills deeply and have the confidence you
need to start working with people.
Breakdown of the Training
Day 1 - Friday
On the first day you will be introduced to the class and you'll
start learning all about hypnosis. You've heard about it, maybe
you've even read a couple books or even gone through other
courses, but what does hypnosis -really- consist of? We'll break
down the component parts of what makes hypnosis work, and you will be firmly grounded in the ideas that make hypnosis
possible. In this way you start with the best possible
foundation.
You will then learn your first hypnotic
inductions! By the end of the first day, you will have
successfully hypnotized another person and you will be well on
the road to success.
Day 2 - Saturday Starting on this day you will learn more advanced concepts about
what makes hypnosis work and you will learn the five triggers
that bring a person into hypnosis every time. Topics will
include how to deepen and maintain the trance, testing for
suggestibility and levels of hypnosis, and hypnotic states such
as Hyperempiria, the Ultra States, and the James Esdaile
or Coma state.
Day 3 - Sunday The third
day will be started off with a thorough discussion of hypnotic
language and how we can use language patterns to influence
people. We will then explore some of the more advanced hypnotist
skill-sets such as eyes-open trance experiences, Hypno-sleep,
Rapid Re-induction Trigger Response Training, and more!
About half-way through the day, we will carpool to some of the
most popular venues in Oahu, to do Street Hypnosis and to
hypnotize the locals! This is where you will get a chance to
test out on "real live people" the techniques that you have just
learned, and at the end of the day you will walk away having
earned the title of a "Certified Hypnotist"!
Day 4 - Monday This begins
the start of the Hypnotherapist specialty certification. On this
day we will dive deep into the concepts and skills that are
needed to work with another person in a professional capacity,
acting as a clinical hypnotist. We will be moving at a very fast
pace because there is a lot to cover in this complex field, and
you will learn the core principles and ideas that help you to
work with another person and to change their lives forever.
Day 5 - Tuesday On the last day of the
training, you will learn the secrets to working with hypnotic
age regression, and some of the more powerful techniques in
hypnosis such as the hall of regression, double dissociative
states, parts therapy, and some of the latest reframing
techniques. You will find out how to set both visual and
auditory anchors, and we will also be covering some of the
techniques of Neuro-linguistic Programming.
At the end of
the day you will have earned your Hypnotherapist specialization
and will have a great new confidence about getting out there and
working with clients!
About The Instructor
Taylor Sherman is a Certified Hypnotist, a
Certified Hypnosis Instructor for the Society of Experiential Trance,
